    Sessions, Users and Page View

Page view: A simple definition for a page view can relate to a user viewing a web page. A user can also browse more than one page per website visit.

Sissions: A session is a group of hits recorded for a user in a given time period.

Users: A user is a distinct person, or, more accurately, a distinct clientID identified in the Google Analytics tracking cookie.

sessions : Google Analytics uses sessions as a cookie, which comes with an expiration term of just 30 minutes. It works similar to the way a visitor ID cookie works. In case a person who is visiting your website do not have a session cookie, then your analytics account will create a new one.
Pageviews : It is one of the easiest to understand. Pageviews are the total number of times the page on the website has been viewed. Now in case, one person clicks on your page multiple times, the analytics will count his each visit as a pageview.
uses : Google Analytics keeps track of visitors on your website using cookies based on the Javascript. Whenever a visitor visits a website with Google Analytics account for the first time, his user ID is created automatically.

A visit is defined as a series of page requests from the same uniquely identified visitor with a time of no more than 30 minutes between each page request.

A page view is a count of how many times a page has been viewed on a website or the chosen group within the chosen period of time. All page views are counted no matter how many times a user has visited the website in the chosen period of time.

Google Analytics records a session every single time someone visits your website. A session starts right away when someone loads a page and ends after 30 minutes of inactivity

Users represent individuals that visit your site. If that same User leaves your site and comes back later, Google Analytics will remember therm, and their second visit won’t increase the number of Users (since they have already been accounted for in the past).

Sessions represent a single visit to your website. Whether a User lands on one of your web pages and leaves a few seconds later, or spends an hour reading every blog post on your site, it still counts as a single Session. If that User leaves and then comes back later, it wouldn’t count as a new User (see above), but it would count as a new Session.

Pageviews represent each individual time a page on your website is loaded by a User. A single Session can include many Pageviews, if a User navigates to any other web pages on your website without leaving.
