Yes ! .me domains are easy to transfer to a new registrant and it is the process which is similar to .com . I would like to share Domain transfer process here:

1. Get the EPP code from your old domain registrar.
2. Enter the domain which you want to transfer in to the new domain registrant
3. After that give your EPP code to them to transfer your domain from your old registrar to new registrar.
4. New domain registrar will give particular time period to you to transfer domains.
