    Can Bing compete with Google?

I think it won’t compete with Google. As Google is world best search engine and also it is old and popular. And bing is new and also it doesn’t have many users.

I doubt it - too many people love google even when they're getting screwed by them. I prefer bing but I can't see people switching.

    Hi,

The question is :"is Google good enough ?" If it is, then there is no reason for anyone to switch.

    Regards,

There is nothing impossible to happen..even if bing improves with some more features they can easily compete google, google is developing yet another new search engine of google.

It looks like after all these months, Bing is still at 6% market share with no real change.

Microsoft has tradition of entering late in business and then taking the good market share. We have seen this in browser, database, and operating systems market. At present they are just increasing their lead by small percentages.

On personal note I do like visiting BING for two reasons one i get to see a mind freshing picture and secondly i like search results better then Google. Specially the snippet without even clicking on web link.
    Thanks

Google is not as good as it once was. I think SEO's are too good at manipulating it... It is sometimes difficult to find what you are looking for because some crap website has paid a marketing company to get them thousands of backlinks and high PageRank! It's is not as good as it once was, but it is still the best!

I wonder if Facebook will soon include a search engine...
