    Fabulous Site Down For Hours Tuesday September 7th, 2010

    Tuesday September 7th. The main Fabulous.com site has been down for at least 3 hours. I emailed Mike Fab and support about 3 hours ago and haven't had a reply. Landers aren't loading. Strange.

    Anyone else seeing this? I ask "just in case" there's a routing issue.

    It's seldom a good sign that a company that has been bought out begins to have "technical issues". Tends to show management/staffing problems, inadequate funding, firing the wrong people in NOC, etc.

    Maybe they fired the wrong SysAdmin or pissed the wrong one off?

    Server not found

    Firefox can't find the server at www.fabulous.com.

    * Check the address for typing errors such as
    ww.example.com instead of
    www.example.com

    * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network
    connection.

    * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure
    that Firefox is permitted to access the Web.

    We did experience some load issues on our system overnight, but I have been told by the Techs that these issues have now been resolved.

    The Fabulous.com homepage and landing pages are loading fine for me here in Brisbane.

    Strange, I never received your email. Can you please resend it to mike at fabulous dot com. Can you also include your IP address, operating system and browser details so I can pass on to the Tech team and see if they can identify any further problems.

    Fabulous.com does not work at all here...totally down...at least for several hours now.

    I've ask others I know across the US to check as well...same problem.
    Your domains are never completely worthless. They can always be used as a bad example.

    As you are all no doubt aware, there were some issues that plagued us over the last 12+ hours. It seems they were intermittent and some locations experienced problems whilst others didn't, making it more difficult to locate the root of the issue. The Tech guys are now confident that they have identified and resolved all system issues.

    If anyone sent an email to me or Fabulous Support and it hasn't been addressed, can you please re-send it.
