    Citing Open Source Information on Websites

    What are the rules/legalities regarding referencing open source
    information (with citations) on websites?

    The Wikipedia: Text of the GNU Free Documentation License is probably a good place to get an idea of rules and legal issues regarding republishing information that is in the public domain.

    InfoGuy, Wikipedia was the direction I was going with this. The link was helpful.

    I was referring to public domain, as in Wikipedia.
