I don’t understand why domain investors get offended when someone sends in a low offer for a domain. *Just because most people don’t understand that domains have a high resale value there is no reason to berate them. *And even if the do. You own the domain. *It’s yours. *There is zero reason to lecture someone on the value of domains. Simply point them to Namebio and let it go. Put your energy and effort into something more positive. *You don’t have to sell it to them and they don’t have to buy it. *If they want to tell me the price is stupid, I still own the domain and its both our losses. *I will never sell the name if they are correct and they will never get the name they want. *That’s not going to change with harsh words.

For every lowball offer I get, there are responses from professional domain investors that give me a quote 10 times the going rate. *Just making a number up. *You can see why a buyer gets pissed when so many domainers pull numbers out of their ass based on hope and what we think its worth. * Often with no real comps. Zero reason for pricing other that grabbing straws. *They’ll throw me a comp that is nowhere near their domain’s value to a company to market their wares. So many other choices at that price and lower. * Using the same reasoning above I never ask them why they think its worth their price. *It doesn’t matter. *I simply leave an offer and they can think about it. * *No use in telling them they are reaching, it’s theirs to reach with.

Have a name at auction and need more exposure?*Send me an email. We*Charge $10 per name per day.*We may be able to help. If you have an auction you want to promote, email us for details.*All names chosen by us, Shane and Josh . (ie you click through and purchase a name you like) or an occasional paid listing. Everything we say is based on our own research or is opinion. Do your own due diligence. That means look it up yourself if you don’t think the stats or our opinion is correct. We hand choose the names but we are paid to make this list by both the auction houses, individuals that are auctioning names, and Godaddy affiliate links. Keep that in mind and only buy names that*YOU*think are good
