Any method apply be sure that you use white hat techniques. I agree, getting reciprocal links is not a good solution.

The factors you described are peaceful significant for having high quality back links, but you only described 3 activities in it. Getting Back links from Forums and edu, gov sites are also the important and successful source for a site to get increased rank in SERP.
