You guys ought to do something about the spammers that come on the board with one or a handful of posts. I've been watching the new layout and still don't see you guys handling this problem. If you can't fix it with programming, then at least manually attempt to ban or get rid of crap like these examples:

The Getting Started forum is loaded with these type posts. Honestly, this is a major turn-off. If management or the tech guys can't get a grip on this, then it's a terminal issue regarding quality membership and continued posts by quality members.

Who is responsible for this and what is being done about it?

We recently added a plugin that checks the user's IP against a spammer list, before allowing them to register. This should prevent pretty much all spammers.

Here's a suggestion: how about not waiting 4 days to respond? You and other admin/mods need to be way more active on here. Waiting 4 days for a response is absolutely ridiculous.
