- there are some references in the HTML (for the homepage) to .ka.dev, which was probably an internal development domain, but was not properly removed on the production server. This means certain files don't open
- the YUI files can be loaded directly from Yahoo's servers, to save bandwidth and to load much faster; see:
http://www.yuiblog.com/blog/2007/02/...e-yui-hosting/
- the TTL on the DNS for the domain is set to 300 seconds (due to the transition from the old server to the new one, this helped); however, assume you don't plan to move servers again, you might want to set to to 3600 seconds (1 hour), as the board seems very slow to load (which might be due to DNS lookups all the time)

Is it possible to remove the limit for these messages?
By the way, I like the new fresh look

I have put the Private Messages limit up to 300. Hopefully, this will be enough?

We removed the references to ka.dev on Friday... Please let us know if you find anymore
We are in the process of a server move at the moment, so this may be the cause of the slow load times, etc. If the load times do not improve once this is complete, we will need to look into this.
Thanks,
Andrew

The RSS feeds are back in the search results for "new posts" and "today's active threads", which basically makes the board unusable.

The RSS feed bot stopped working, so again a bunch of posts were made at once. It will be more even from now on, so they won't clog the search results.

Surprising these major bugs have not been addressed after all this time.

Hopefully the old posts have not been wiped out durng the upgrade!
Also, when making a new post in a thread the new post does not go to the top as it should, but stays where is was positioned before the latest post, when clicking on View New Posts.

If there are more feed bot posts than "real" human posts, though, it'll still clog the search results. Many of us (myself included) already subscribe to various RSS feeds, so seeing these posts again simply adds "noise" to the DomainState experience. In my opinion (it's not my forum, so you can obviously do whatever you feel is best), it might lead to a state where the only activity on the forum is bots talking to other bots, and the humans will simply be gone.

We will have this removed from search results soon... There are bugs that we want to sort out first. There won't be as many posts happening all at once from now on though, so the search results and "View New Posts" should be easier to look through.
Keep the bug reports coming!
Cheers,
Andrew
