Tools section - everything you need in one place
For those who don't know or havn't visited the page in a while, we offer a comprehensive range of tools for the domainer via the "tools" button at the top right of this site:
Universal Whois
provides whois lookups for .com .net .org .info .biz .uk .tv .au .us .de domains
for .com/.net/.org domains you get the details at internic, the details at the registrar and the details that the root server holds (so you can diagnose nameserver errors or see if domains have been suspended). You can also place a snapback on any domains you find that you are interested in directly from the results page.
Useful Links
US & UK trademark lookups
UDRP, ACPA information
Database of ccTld information
The WLS revised proposal
Acronym finder
Wondering what those initials mean? Heres the tool to help.
Typo finder
Looking for typos of words for your meta tags to help in search engine placement etc? Look no further
.info pending delete list
.com/.net/.org deleted domains list (updated daily - supplied by Exody.com)
Overture Suggestion tool lets you look at number of searches made via the overture powered sites in a given month. As well as the US/global search database also has seperate lookups for the UK, French and German versions of overture (great for checking foreign word domains).
Marketleap link popularity checker lets you see the number of links the major search engines hold to a site/domain.
UDRP Decision Lookup
Type in a domain or part of a domain and this lists udrp cases that match. useful to getting fast access to decisions you know about or looking at the udrp history of specific tm holders.
IP Address Lookups
If you want details of who controls a specific IP address/range you can search ARIN, RIPE and APNIC here.
Domain News
Latest domain news from the moreover domain news feed.
Don't forget you can also access the Universal whois and snapback ordering from the bottom of every page in the site.
We're adding new tools to this section all the time so its worth checking regularly to see whats new that can help you better research your business.

at least your Whois-Search is included in the registrar/reseller poll (and you can vote for your own services if you wish)

I changed the order and added the link to google term searches given how often I'm finding myself explaining how to use that and to hopefully encourage more people to look at the dispute side of domaining more seriously.
Having the whois at the top of that page seemed a bit redundant given it is at the bottom of every page on the site.
