    Have Offer, Need Advice

Hi, I came here because I have received an offer from a Sado broker for a domain I have listed on their site for sale as "make offer" - but they haven't made the offer official, ie so that I can accept it as a starting point for an auction. Just an email: Our client wants to offer you $, please let me know if this offer is of interest or alternatively your sales price." - Can anyone tell me what is going on? What's it cost to hire them as a broker? What does it mean to make an offer this way? Does it mean it's a lowball offer?

If you feel the offer is reasonable, you should let Sedo know that you're interested in selling the domain, but not at that price. Ask Sedo what they think the buyer is willing to spend. It's in their best interest to maximize the sale price as their commission is based on the proceeds.

This thread doesn't belong in the legal/trademark forum. It should be in one of the sales forums.
