Brokerage Agreement - Domain Sold, I didn't know
I had a brokerage agreement with a party regarding a domain name valid for 75 days since December 31. He sold the domain to someone and I didn't know it until someone emailed me saying that it was sold.
The agreement also clearly stated that if the domain is sold, it needs to be informed to remove from my services.
I emailed the domain owner and now he says YES, the domain is sold.
I cannot find out if the domain was sold to my contacts or not as the whois still remains the same.
Need Help, please.

well you obviously didn't have anything to do with the sale, so what is the issue?

Obviously charley is the only one that can answer this but I'm just wondering out loud if what I read into his problem is correct.
I think charley was brokering the name and had contacted people about the name. charley is concerned that perhaps one of those that he contacted then bought the name directly from the owner thus cutting him out of a commission?

That was my initial thought as well but if that were the case, why wouldn't "his" contacts reveal this to him if they were, indeed, the buyers?
Seems there is a lot more to this story than is revealed here.
