well if you were Arab, this website might make sense...
Have you ever thought there are two sides to every story?

Ah yes, If I were Arab that would make me want to kill Bush?? What a minimized statement.
There are two sides to every story - and then there is the truth....
It is very strange, when I was a kid, those I knew who were Muslim were not murderers - they were dignified people who were a part of the community - not a people trying to destroy it. I guess someone rewrote the "rules".
A threat against Bush (whether you like him or not) is a threat upon the US - and that will be dealt with. If you don't like him, vote next time for someone else. Oh - you are not a US citizen and you are making threats? Hmmm, I think they used to call that war - not sure anymore.
I think the people who make all the threats should get their own house in order first.
Right....

My statement was not meant to show approval of this website. On the contrary, I believe there is no place on the internet for this type of abuse. Because this is exactly what it is, abusive.
You should however, get your head out of the sand and listen to what others have to say. Listen to newscasts and read news articles from other countries once in a while, because yours have been bought and paid for, a long time ago. There's nothing quite like hearing it from the neighbours!

Bingo. No crystal ball needed. I didn't vote for Bush, --but, someone in the United States threatening the life of a sitting U.S. president? Guaranteed hairy eye-ball from big brother.
Some random topics of interest:
"Echelon" and "Patriot Act"
Other than that, I have the sneaking feeling this thread is veering off course and in danger of being a soapbox for bad vibes.

Well at least on this board I hope we all can agree that we're domainers first, and all the rest is peripheral...

VERY TRUE. Also, I think people equating "death threats" with "voicing desent" should keep on noting that they are entirely different things, even with voicing desent about policies that kill people. Maybe some people are simply using the topic as a soapbox opportunity, but sometimes I wonder. With any military action in history... especially those that take the lives of foreigners ("justification" is always a subjective opinion)... you could say the same thing. Say someone is a war criminal. Speak out. Protest. Make a movie. Exercise your freedoms. Crossing the line is when "criticism" of the government becomes the Oklahoma city bombing or the Kennedy assasination (or any plans thereof). Not cool, people. An eye for an eye leaves both men blind.

Lew, you forget - it's now called a "pre-emptive strike". :^)
But let's not argue anymore. Bush said the war is over, apparently.

Yes, The war is over - it is the "democracy building" that is killing our soldiers on a daily basis...

I think the war isn't over until BOTH SIDES decide it is?
Democracies only work within countries that what them.
