Thanks TC, very interesting.

Yes, thanks for the heads up TC. A very nice name and price that reflects this.

It looks like buyer #8 won it for $ 1,015,000 USD.
Now, lets see if they pay.
I assume Sedo has already qualified him.
I have been watching it, wondering it it would hit 1 mil.
Surprised me.
Were Invest.mobi $ 22,500 (Feb 07) and Invest.us $ 6,500. (Oct. 06) good buys?

Buyer 10 02:12 PM EST 950,000 USD
Buyer 9 02:10 PM EST 515,000 USD
That's a hell of a jump!

Is this the only name that sold? Is there a list?

I wonder what the usage of the name could be, a real word but not one with obvious significance. I guess the main appeal is to resell to companies using the term in their corp name?

I think that's the case , I smell a lot of "Industry"money seating in the sidelines waiting to be *invested (reinvested) on "Investment grade".com domains (pardon the redundance)
*Some in the USA as part of their year-end tax strategy, I actually had a seller replying to an offer ' "yes... but pay me in Jan 1st 2008 "

That's an interesting one in that it's kind of a phonetic TM infringement, but technically dissimilar enough to not violate in the traditional sense.

Maybe more usable for the Spanish word meaning 'road'.

It's a universal word in that sense.
