I missed the end of the Sedo auction for America.com today.

Does anyone know the outcome?

The bidding went up to $1.71 Million. Unfortunately it didn't hit the reserve. Although it was relatively close to doing so.

The biggest surprise to me: There were no more than three active bidders! Two bidders placed bids below $10,000, only bidder 3 raised his own bid to $1.7 million.

if you are bidding less than 10k, i wouldnt really even classify a person as an active bidder. more like a joke bidder.

Is it possible to tell if the high bidder was legitimate or if they were related to the seller?

nowadays ll.org, nnn.com, and lll.com are in fashion, people don't play generics anymore.
