thats just the .uk tld zone file (essentially just a list of name servers with authority for each sld) - not the actual domain (sld) zone file. it's by no means equivalent to the .com zone file.
I guess you could use the list to find ns's to check if domains are being resolved individually - but you can't use it to diff or localscan like you can with full zone files.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info
It's still useful for sniffing around... I still remember when .org.uk and .co.uk were still available on Nominet's own servers... Those were the days... Unforunately, only could get the .org.uk file as I was only on dialup, the .co.uk was already hundreds of megs...
You can get a .uk domain list at viewdns.info/data/. This list has many more domains on it (~4.5million) than the last available zone file (~2million).
