Apparently several thousand of these names are in the process of non renewal, will be interesting to see what kind of prices these get. If I remember rightly the minimum peaked at a couple of hundred each?
Originally posted by DNBlogger I remember one entity buying most of LLL.mobi names. Perhaps its the renewal fees issue for them as they bought way too many and no ppc income.
thats pretty much what they told me... but i would assume the other part is likely noticing resale prices are back to exactly what they paid for them 2 years ago ($25ea for a 2 year registration)
that is about the going rate now for crappy LLL.mobi... and if you tried to offload a couple hundred on the forums im fairly sure the prices would hit $5-10 or be unsellable eventually. i saw this trend happening early on which is why i would buy LLL.mobi ONLY for quickflips and sell them at the absolute lowest prices found anywhere. i dont really care for meaningless unpronounceable LLL.mobi, but lots of people were buying them for commodities sake. once the perceived rareness goes away so does the demand. it was only a matter of time though.

it's like knowing an iceberg will hit the ship, before it leaves the dock.
but every now and then i'll still see a decent .mobi sale on sedo
I would say so, can't see .me prices staying afloat for long. I would have said it is a much weaker extension than .mobi, I'd say it is closer to .cc or .to.

I think .me is better than:
.tv > .me > .to >>> .mobi > .cc
Wasn't meant to be creative - was an observation. Sorry every comment about .mobi is such a dagger in your side. However .mobi has simply failed to be what it was supposed to be so therefore has no more point than any other alternate extensions. You can claim people don't 'get' the point but you're only fooling yourself to justify bad investment decisions - a common practice amongst many domainers.
A quick look back through your posts since the start of the .mobi show you jumping to it's defence whenever it's mentioned in a thread in a bad light and telling us that we don't understand the coming 'revolution' of moblile devices and .mobi. You then also tell us that's why you were ahead of the game and registered the .mobis you did. Of course now we're down the line and the revolution never came you have a vested interest in the extension doing well. Hence the dagger comments. If you didn't have money tied up in it you just wouldn't care (like me) that it's failed.
