Actually "Safe" you appear to be the "bitter one".... still wishing he would have gotten a decent dot com. Since he didn't, he will forever remain lost in the past.
I won't rise to that, but lets just say that the sales figures don't lie
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

Debate is a two way street. Show some respect, and you'll get some in return. Baiting people and having others argue points on your behalf don't get you anywhere.
As far as the intelligent issues, I "kind of" in my own way apologized to 218. He needs to remember though that if you jump in the fire you had better bring the proper gear with you or risk "getting burnt". This advice goes for you as well. Your "little inputs" then disappearing act certainly calls into question your "part in all this".
Good day everyone and I certainly apologize to anyone who feels they've been offended to include "Safe".

This thread was originally about a dot info, then ends up being about a dot biz. First off let me apologize to the original poster. As for my part in all this I was simply responding to the comments about dot biz. For historical reference, I will post my thoughts [again] as to why dot biz will make a difference in the marketplace.
FACT #1: There won't be another "Business" related TLD approved by ICANN anytime soon.
FACT #2: "Biz" is becoming the "online equivalent" to the word business (here in the US).
FACT #3: You cannot compare, "info" with "biz" registrations. It's a apples and oranges comparison. "Info" is for info related sites and "Biz" is for "businesses". Obviously that fact alone will make a difference when comparing the two. "Biz" after all is "restricted" whereas "info" is not. Take into account the speculative ability in the "info" regs, compared to .biz, and I think you will see what I mean.
FACT #4: .Biz when conjoined with a generic term is far more specific in it's make-up then any other extenstion. Example: www.protection.com Vs www.protection.biz
FACT #5: The internet is evolving everyday. Whether I like it or not, there will be more TLDs that come. It's part of our nature to "classify" things. This fact may actually hurt .biz, but I think it would hurt .info far more. Especially if .travel or .health comes out. Those are the two big "info" related groupings. But again, there will only be one "biz".
FACT #6: Businesses are using .biz sites. I ran into a nice one the other day, www.dataprotection.biz . This company has been around since 1997. No doubt they made the switch from a long .com to a better .biz that suits their specific area of concentration. Businesses usually spend far more money on advertising (on the avg) then info/org related sites. Extra advertising equals extra exposure.

Dear izopod, I've sold hundreds of domains at end user prices. I can point people I trust to a list of just 16 of those many hundred where the total sales value was well in excess of $150,000.
Do you really think I regret anything?
Like I said, some talk the talk...
