A fatal blow to Rock N Roll, which may already be dead.

Madonna to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

As much as I actually respect Madonna (just a teensy bit), this is an embarrassment.

Sure she's a Pop diva. She's earned that title. But doesn't anyone know the difference anymore?

I'm confused is this list just the top 200 songs, or are all these people in the HOF? How do you get your hands on the whole list of inductees?

And I can't find any info on Twisted Sister. There must have been an oversight somewhere. But they are in the Long Island Music Hall of fame.

Oh and also, I remember when Madonna was nothing but a cheap ripoff of Cyndi Lauper. I spit on Madonna!

"Atrocity" indeed. And her induction sadly invalidates the "rock-n-roll" hall of fame as meaning anything. Britney Spears will be artist of the century, and perhaps Paris Hilton will receive the Pulitzer for her memoirs. Jerry Springer or Howard Stern as Time's man of the year.

Nothing would surprise me, these days.

    Hall of Shame.

Hopefully most of those great musicians (at least rock icons) listed above know full well the R&R HOF is nothing but a joke.

Same as the Grammys, which awards sheer commercial success attained mostly by talentless hacks and posers with great agents or just lucky to have been the flavor of the day.
