Fabulous.com - $6.60 .com transfer promotion
Hi all,
In an effort to support the domain community, we have decided to offer $6.60 transfers of .com's for a limited time. This promotion will be valid until September 30th, 2008. Please note that customers must fund their account(s) via Wire Transfer to be eligible for the discount. Please contact Your Account Representative or support@fabulous.com to take advantage of this special.
Also, as you may already know, in the coming months domain registries VeriSign (.com and .net), Afilias (.info), and Public Interest Registry (.org) will be raising their pricing. As a result, we will be adjusting domain registrations, renewals and transfers costs as per below:
.com - $7.30 (1-Oct-08)
.net - $5.35 (1-Oct-08)
.org - $7.25 (1-Nov-08)
.info - $7.25 (1-Nov-08)
With the price increase just 30 days away, now may be a good time to bulk renew your premium names already at Fabulous and transfer in those .com's you have registered elsewhere.
Cheers,
Mike

Hi Mike,
How much will it cost me to transer a godaddy .com that is expiring soon -- to my fabulous account?
And can I transfer IDNs to fabulous.
Thanks
Phio

Hi Phio,
If you have a Wholesale/Monetization account domain registrations/renewals/transfers are currently as follows:
.com - $6.85
.net - $4.95
.org - $6.65
.info - $6.65
As mentioned previously, these prices will rise shortly, due to the registries increasing their costs.
Also, for a limited time, those customers with a wholesale account that fund their account via wire transfer (or from parking revenue) are eligible for a special promo on .com transfers, at $6.60.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers,
Mike

Gidday Mike, I'm about to do a lot of renewals in my Fabulous account and am wondering whether Verisign's price increase takes effect in Fab a/cs at the end of 30 September midnight tonight (ie. Aussie date), or midnight tomorrow night (ie. US date)?
Cheers,
Lawrance

Hi Lawrance,
The price update will be effective as of the Registry Time, which is US.
The Registry Time is displayed at the bottom of the page once you are logged into your Fab account.
Let me know if you have any other questions.
Cheers,
Mike

Many thanks Mike.
