weekend sucked again
This time the traffic shows to be normal, but the rev is just as bad as last weekend. No foll up from DS about their "glitch" last weekend.
Looks like PPC is still on the decline, hasnt bottomed out, even though you keep seeing in the media that online adspend is supposed to be increasing. Guess thats bad for domain owners as far as PPC goes. Means many are outright opting out of parking pages.

My results seem to be pretty normal given the time of the year and the day of the week.

Anyone else see a dip in revenue on the 22/8?
-
I think the opt out is killing a lot of people. Plus some DSL providers just plain blocking the landers.
I think we have another 25% decline in store over the next 12 months.
My DS revenue is stable, but other providers getting hit monthly.

I saw a big dip last Thursday, August 20.

What do you mean?

adwords advertisers opting out of parking landers, ie domainsponsor, trafficz etc. Also, browsers such as firefox using adblockplus likely hurting to. Basically, PPC is under attack from many angles. I am slowly identifying those that would benefit from my better trafficed names and offering exclusive leases for that traffic. ITs a win win. Little more work but I can double my rev usually while the advertiser cuts his cost by cutting Google out of the mix. (and domain sponsor, unfortunately). Note: I realize that PPC decliine is not domain sponsors doing by any means. They are/were an innovator that allowed many of us to prosper when we had very few options, and they do deserve credit for that. They are suffering the same fate as we are on a much larger scale.

I see a huge drop in revenue since Wednesday.
Does anyone else see it?
-
Same here. Wednesday's RPM was the lowest of this month for me. Looks like September will be worse than August.

Well it's likely across the board, because I'm with Parked and after 1 Sept it's been catastrophic.
"Just when I thought that I was out, they pull me back in!"

yep. Parked domain PPC appears to have both fee in the grave. Just when you though things would pick up after the summer, leading into fall, cooler temps, more traffic, the trend bucks the normal trend. By next summer, I believe PPC will be just 20% of what it was at its peak. For me, its already off 60%. Whos to blame? Well, who pays the bills? Obviously, advertisers have decided in larger numbers that direct navigation isnt cost effective. Couple that with few advertisers in general, then, out of those that do remain, being very frugal, and the option to opt out of landers, and venues like domain sponsor are in for a world of hurt. Its a nightmare to look at historical data compared to today. Hope you all saved some money.

Yes, but just Wednesday only.
I did notice that Tuesday had a lag in updating.
It may just be a stats. issue rather than revenue performance.

My travel clicks (mainly Euro) saved the summer honestly I noticed either flat/stable to slightly better results from years past as far as traffic/CTR/$Click/RPM , otherwise I would had a dismal 3 months or so...
I think "Conversion" matters more and more to advertisers , they probably watch it more closely with better and better tools and that trend is here to stay, and as a result as parking matures that dividng " quality line" it's more noticeable/marked to all parties involved and the better the traffic the better you get paid and viceversa ... in addition other "compounding effects" are taking place eg: for USA traffic the stimulus money is gone as well as it seems parking companies claim to stop subsidizing poor traffic...
