I think Dec 13 was my LOWEST ds daily revenue in at least a year !
-
same for me. Rev's gone down by almost 50% for the past week.
-
Yep. My worst day in four years. The DS/PPC party is over. daily Rev is off 50% from just two weeks ago. I have to consider that this company is now going to have wom issues. Year end loyalty bonuses are due soon, they had the snapnames liability issue, coupled with declining PPC levels all year, browsers with lander blocking capabilities, and who knows what else. After the new year, I will get off my lazy but and move some of my better names to adsense. the ppc lander platform appears to be under some type of combined assault. CTR is off a few percentage points, but RPC is off now pushing 25% in less than a month. I dont suppose anybody from domain sponsor would care to comment on why that is. Also, I would like to know if this particular, fast paced RPC decline is being felt at other ppc venues, if it is industry wide, or if it is a problem unique to the DS platform.

I checked with what happened last year.
Going from Nov. 2008 to Dec. 2008 (monthly totals) their was a drop off of ~15%.
Seems to be tracking down at the same level this year at ~16.5%.
Feedback from my rep. is some of the technical issues are looking to get resolved by the latest Q1 2010.

For what I gather it's happening with all "parking Co's" fed by Google .
It could be just end of the year "Window dressing" whereby they are keeping a larger piece of the Pie in order to get better 2009 numbers, either at the Main Source Level (Google) or the Parking Companies themselves...
Move your domains around , whinning won't do a thing "heck most employees are getting ready to leave for vacation" in the next 2 days , moving them away will hurt their pockets.

Dec 15th was the worst day ever.
I'm disgusted.
-
yea, now the click thru ratio is jacked. Dropped like 25% for the last few days. Its pur BS.

Haven't really noticed any decline is parking over the last month (this is over about 8 different parking co's), then again this time of the year it should be strengthening. Some days have been strong, like Monday 7th (which I think historically is the strongest ecommerce day of the year).
In regards to this time last year I think that was an anomaly, because the GFC was hitting when the market would usually get better.
Overall though I am only mildly more confident about the industry than I was 6 months ago. The market doesn't seem to be in freefall like it was then, but it has no real strength either.
