Lander loading anomoly - Optimized landers not loading, generic landers loading

    11:30 P.M. E.S.T.

Just noticed that domains that I manually optimized are erratically loading their related landers: First a generic lander (no optimized links) loads, if I do a refresh this will happen 1-2x, and then if I continue to refresh an optimized lander finally loads.

This is happening across multiple domains, possibly all, and at least most that I check.

What's going on? Is this by design?

Since you guys are all partying in Vegas please don't attempt to fix this until the vodka/gin/tequilla starts to wear off around 11:30 A.M. Friday. That leaves about 1 hour to fix it before the BAC starts to ramp up again around noon - 12:30 P.M.

(Wish I was there. Never a bad time in Sin City.)

9:32 A.M. still happening: 1st load = generic, refresh = generic, second refresh = optimized lander.

Is the system is acting as if my account is set to display the various versions of landers now available: The plain-Jane multi color lander, the blue landers and the picture landers BUT - since my account is supposed to only display the blue landers is the system somehow it's defaulting to the 2 "other landers" as the default generic lander only? At least that's what it's looking like since the landers change after multiple refreshes.

Please examine and repair as soon as you all get some sleep and get sober, which since you're likely all still in LasVegas, means Sunday. :-P

Is this something that can be set by any of us through our admin. panel or only through dealing with our account rep?
    Thanks.

Aero, at the time DSp launched the landers with the mismatched images and mismatched generic wording I asked to opt out of displaying the new landers and DSp kindly obliged.

I believe that time DSp publicly stated (on this board) that anyone who wanted to opt out could opt out.

I'll consider new versions of landers when the system allows more granular control by individual members, such as control over images, control over generic verbiage "by domain class" (I think I'll need to be able to assign my domains to "groups" for this to work, that is "travel and tourism", "software and computers", etc.).

Also, it will be a happy day when they dump the "Make this your homepage", "Bookmark this page", the date stamp and the "What you need when you need it" tagline. All wasted real estate and bandwidth in my book.

I'm looking forward to the day when domainers have far more granular control in making what amount to multi-level mini portals because I've got quite a few domains that would play nicely with such a model. Since I tend to be a loyalist (fix it, don't abandon it) personality I keep hoping DSp will launch such working options soon, as I ain't getting any younger.

    Thumbs down

Landers look all screwed up. Some of them (default blue) show no links for top row, bottom row or Popular Categories. Others show no links for top row, bottow row, Popular Categories or Popular Links column. And then there are some that show nothing but the generic garbage under Favorite Categories - Travel, Finance, Home, Business, Entertainment and Lifestyle.

It certainly explains why I had one of the worst days ever at DS the other day and one of the best days ever at a competing parking program. For over a year, CTR for the DS portfolio was usually 25% +/- 3% with few instances out of that range. Lately, CTR has dropped sharply to 18% +/- 5% with some days showing 9-12% CTR. Results have become much more erratic, not to mention disappointing.

Let's see if they hold true to their promise of issuing credits for their technical glitches.

I'm seeing the same problem on my blue landers also. Not sure how longs it has been going on but yesterdays rpm was lower than I'd expect and todays is lower still, presumably as a result.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

YO! DSRich - It ain't so: It ain't fixed. Same stuff going on and it looks to be getting worse. Now I'm seeing landers for prime keywords that are only putting up "Top Sites" links - you know - the ones that love the traffic that aren't paying for that traffic.

RED ALERT! NO MORE TEQUILLA or VOKDA or BEER or GIN or SINGLE MALT until this is fixed.

EMail also sent to DSSupport @ Revenue.net

    Thank you for your support.

Yes, we had some intermittent problems with our optimization system this morning. We have fixed the problem and are monitoring our system closely. We apologize for this inconvenience and thank you for your patience. If you encounter any problems or have any questions, email us at DSsupport@revenue.net

Did anyone receive credits for these botched landers?
