Code problem with opt=off pages
Domainsponsor redirects using the "opt=off" setting are issuing a javascript error on the initial lander ("r undefined") and on the results page it is only showing the "sponsored links" and not the "top sites" block along with giving another javascript error ("t undefined").

Safe,
Is it a system problem? Or Just your account?
Thanks,
Rick

All the third party sites I've checked exhibit the same thing - It seems that if opt=off is sent, then a section of javascript that the page later relies on isn't sent.
I just tried it with a buydomains page - same result: works ok until opt=off is sent then it throws the error.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

I noticed something too, but I think I have seen something like this talked about before.
If you land on a ds page, an use the search function, or click on a link , it takes you to the advertiser. If you hit the back button, you may get the landing page with no links at all, just a search box, or or sometimes with sponsored links but not popular linkis in left column. Its appears to be inconsistant as sometimes you get different results. Even refreshing the page, or retyping the url doesn't bring the links back. You have to either visitit another site, and then retype the url, or close that edition of your browser. This is with IE anyways. Somebody else experiment and LMK what you get.

i get a java script error on page exit from the lander in ie and can close it out but cant pin it down
not sure its a good idea to be testing or encouraging clicking on advertiser links is the best way to test this issue

Seems OK for me. No errors. Not using ProRedirect.com.
Using IE and Netscape. Unders and Exits turned off. Pressing back, shows complete lander.

The errors I referred to occur with opt=off foz, did you try that?

Ah, my bad.
Optimisation code OFF; I see the lander, Favorite Categories listings, then Sponsored Links only on second lander. Back button works OK.
If you do a second search function, Sponsored Links and Top Sites appear.

If you're getting that in IE then at the bottom left of the status bar you will likely be seeing a yellow triangle which signifies the JS error.

Should we be seeing Popular Links and Categories with OPT. off?
-
opt is optimisation, which is the popular links and related links (including the top and bottom bar) so when its set to off those shouldn't be visible.
the error is also preventing the "top sites" from showing on the results page as you saw above.
some versions of ie show an alert box for javascript errors, others show the yellow triangle in the status bar.

I don't have an "opt=off" in my redirection code, but I posted something about this a while ago as I've noticed "Sponsored Links" have not been showing up on my domains for a long time. My sites show "Top Sites", but not Sponsored Links which are the optimized, more likely to be clicked sites.
Has DS been alerted to this?

No js errors detected here any browser, of course I'm not using opt=off. I just wish I could figure out why "Sponsored Pages" are not being displayed on any of my domains.
