    mturk

Anyone else using amazon's mturk at all? It took me a while to get my account sorted out because I had an amazon account before I signed up. But I was pretty impressed once I got the ball rolling.

Got a 500 word product review wrtiten for $3!

Genenerating unique content was never this easy!

    Here's the url requester.mturk.com
You'd want to signup as a requester.

You basically create these things called HIT's. You determine what you're requesting, write a desciption for it, point the workers in the right direction, and then state how much you're willing to pay as a reward. You can give them days or hours to work on it, and then you get to review the work before you pay.

You want to use the advanced HIT creation tool, don't use the basic one. Because you need to choose the option to allow them to upload the file. My first 2 HIts got people who accpted but never completed because I didn't click the radio button to let them upload to mturk.

At this time Mechanical Turk does not support Requesters from countries outside the United States.

    Thank you, 218.

I just used it and got the article back lightning fast - not bad. It's here:
    http://windowgreenhouse.com/page.cfm/id/37918

I wonder what happens if you reject many articles because they just weren't what you were looking for?

    Hopefully that won't occur.

Does one need to specify a lot of legalese about how you have the rights to the article and the writer may not sell or publish it etc. etc. etc. ?

Happy to share teatime. I'm amazed at how fast these people get this stuff completed.

I suppose you could put that in the body of what your request is. But I don't think these people are publishers themselves. There's also a search engine that you can cross reference articles against to make sure it's not duplicate content before you approve it. As soon as I get home I'll post that site.

I use mturk as well and think it is awesome. Another option is textbroker.com. You can choose the quality of the work between 1 cent and 6.7 cents per word. All US writers with a feedback system.

Both are awesome. I don't have the time or talent to punch out 4-600 word articles every day.
