    Mesothelioma

After owning a few mesothelioma domains for almost 3 years I finally got a click. And it was worth a lousy 25 cents...

When I bought these names mesothelioma clicks were worth like 75 bucks!

    I just felt like sharing...

I think the lawsuits might have slowed down and the market has been flooded with sites in this area trying to cash in on the bids. Wouldn't suprise me if most of the lawfirms bidding on ppc's for this term have learnt not to buy ads on partner sites.

Understanding my business model is not an easy thing. I'm not even sure I do. But seriously the name I'm specifically referring to is pluralmesothelioma.com a misspell of pleural mesothelioma. I can't justify getting rid of it. Even with the minimal traffic. I'm shocked it never got a click before though.

if they can't get pleural right, what are the chances they're gonna get mesothelioma right? so their spelling problems might ding ya on part 2 of the word?

actually, pleural mesothelioma as a term is not correct at all.
Mesothelioma is a cancer located on the pleura, and cannot be located anywhere else. If it was, it wouldn't be called a mesothelioma.

Pleaura is composed of mesothelial tissue, and this is where the name comes from. To give you an example of what I mean, you cannot say "Pulmonal cancer of the lungs", because the term "Pulmonal cancer" already describes the location of the malignity.

As I see it, it is ok to own pleuralmesothelioma.com, for the few type-ins that would occur, but owning a typo of an incorrect term I would say is useless...

    Just my 2 cents
