Hi people. I currently have a basic site set up dedicated to some software that I've developed. It's quite unique and the market is very niche. The software is free to download and is commonly downloaded by people who are simply after free stuff! Currently I get about 150 visitors per day and I have 300 people signed up to my forum. I've got a bit of adsense on the site and forum, but I'm not making much. Maybe just enough to cover file hosting and hosting program. With such a hit rate/sign-up, is it worth even putting the effort in to monetize this site? Could the reason it's not doing that well be because of the type of traffic, ie freeloaders? Thanks for any advice!

The type of traffic could indeed be the reason. Anyway, as Sully said, give us the name to see it.

I suppose that is impossible to say about that unless you try that. Then you will understand if that was good idea or not.
