I am not arguing the point in this discussion one way or the other, simply was adding my point of the value of targeted type-in traffic domains and secondly the alternatives to run of the network advertising.

I did a search and I was impressed by the sponsored ? results ( searched for an obscure word in catalan language used in a province from Spain ). Although it doesn't take a lot to impress me since I know diddly squat about developing .
I am just a domainer on Phase 1 = trying to adquire traffic in certain spanish niches while the PPC companies help me stay focused on this "goal " by making a little dough and don't having to worry about development (yet !).
While working on Phase 1, I am watching and learning the developing route coming soon ...
It appears to me that the more I wait the easier less painful it will get to cut the "PPC umbilical" chord.
I forsee easier ways coming in the future to cut the middle man while achieving much better result$. ...
A giant domainer (millions < yes plural> of generic type-ins per year) recently gave this "sardine" incredible guidance and insight right here in this forum (via PM), I am very grateful.

What's your goal with the spanish site?

I guess I'm not following the part about getting traffic before developing the site? You said that you're trying to get spanish niche traffic without a site... how? Domains?

Are you saying that you're trying to send traffic to a parked ppc page while you're developing the site offline?

I could probably help you out, but I'm not quite clear on what you're trying to do.

I only have a little time and I use it to find/buy/register (available and for sale) domains a few here and there, I am pretty much priced-out of the
" Snap and Bid houses" , on this sense I am on the last strokes , most available names are TM's with the ocassional Typo, I can almost see the bottom of the Barrel...
No time for development.
My niches are : music , cars , travel, antivirus, Mortgage and anything business related.
The one thing I did right ( combination of fluke and advice recieved) is that I have some monster terms eg; mortgage-loans new-cars wireless high-definition that get little traffic but for what I understand very easy to position when if I ever get to develop them.

You could always start small and just let it build organicially..

If there was one of those topics that you think you could write 200-400 words on 3-5 times per week, I could lead you in the right direction.

Because even if your domains aren't great by "domainer" standards, that doesn't mean crap if you have content on the page. You could get traffic to asdfds-erdfskjf-nfdk.ws if you put it together right.
