    Over 277K Overture Count...

and almost 2 Million Google pages fro the exact term; just regged:

MemberProfile.info (also regged the plural version)

Unsure of the value? Any ideas? Thanks.

Its one of those common terms that are used on many sites but not in the context of a brand - in the same that "about us" is often used in a corporate context

I can't see how it would have that much appeal as a stand alone corporate brand/site though as these things are normally inherently tied to the wider brand that the entity uses.

I think the main use would be as a kind of white pages for the online communities - where there could be some scope - but I would think that would be more webmaster level than corporate with prices to match especially with the .nfo tld.

I'd be thinking that low 3 figures would be good going.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

The first thing that jumps out at me on this domain is that you are "implying" you have Member Profile Information.

This then brings in the Data Protection Act...which would imply a mine field.

Would be very interesting to see it developed and concepts behind it

Wholesale I would pay $20 or so.

btw, with the ovt and google....well, I have one domain that gets : Results 1 - 10 of about 45,900,000 but is basically useless..

you can build a site and take advantage of search patterns.

you will need good google rank. so you need to exchange links.

BTW I am exchanging links with almost any site, but noone applied yet. what a shame.

the overture figures don't look quite right to me, for example the uk ovt is often around 10% of the us figure yet for these terms it only shows only 903 searches

compare it with "yahoo member profile" which has double the count compared to "member profile" according to uk ovt, yet on the us "yahoo member profile" has only 18000. The us figures looks out for "member profile".

    us ovt

    277125 member profile
    18216 member profile yahoo
    6822 aol member profile
    3236 member msn profile

    uk ovt

    1856 member profile yahoo
    903 member profile
    282 member msn profile
    169 aol member profile

Just for fun, I looked at "view cart" and "add to cart" to see how their figures compare to "member profile".

There's a few left in some extensions too

I had "AddtoCart.US, .INFO, .BIZ" and if they haven't dropped already, they sure will be...

I'm not sure what type of value "member profile" would have. I'm developing a networking website for someone right now that literally uses an intricate system of "profiles" for members to connect to each other. The name of the website is great, but I'd never have thought in the direction of using terms like "member" and "profiles" to describe it.

I don't see MemberProfile(s).info as having much use other than "functional"... like registrars registering names like "renewalcenter.com" or "name-services.com". I registered http0.com for "administrative" functions, but I likewise wouldn't have paid much to fullfill that purpose.
