tough competition I am sure.
making money with it will be far from easy.

Your masthead image looks distorted. If I landed on a page like that, I'd normally hit the back button.
Get rid of or redesign the light blue and white background. It works against your text. The same with the grey, but to a lesser extent.
How are you going to make money with this? I don't see any affiliate links.
Always check your code.
W3 Web Validator

I think the .me tld is awful and really doesn't suit the idea of professional help to get someone out of the terrible situation that debt is. Not keen on the site/page either I'm afraid - the blue background has no correlation to the content so it just looks busy and amateurish.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

Thanks for everyone's feedback and opinions.
BTW, regarding Web Validator. Thanks for referring to the problems. I have ran into those type of errors many times in the past with my other websites too.
Many of the errros involve the Document Type. I assume that is related to the first line of code:
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> which same code I use on all my sites.
Is that line the issue and can someone please tell me what coding should be changed to avoid all those doc type errors?

I believe that's because it's one of those basically free not-so-good templates you can buy on eBay where you can get 500 templates for $5.
Since so many here dislike the url (and it will be tough to make money) I guess it is good I spent zero dollars thus far on development.

You are right, not real professional and too busy. Want to get misc seo work done as far as getting a bit of traffic before making the site better. See my prev post re the free template etc.
As an interesting aside I have always suspected Google looks at the extension regarding possible search terms or adwords phrases (combines the ext with keywords) and does that by intermixing words in various arrangements using word parsing.
A good example of that is the Adlink bar ads (ad is now gone) where the Adwords title was "Get Me Out Of Debt" which is my domain combined with the extension. That is actually one of the reasons I reg'd this one.
Anyone think this may be correct?

Those are good points you made.
Re the amateurish page and blue backgrd and the top graphic (as someone else said too) see prev posts.

I don't see it having value, unless you can get some good Adsense revenue from it.
I'd also cite the sources you used for the content.

I believe a lot of the content was gathered from free content sources but not positive. Anyway, will be looking into that issue asap and cite the source if warranted or delete content if not appropriate. Thanks.

I don't know what you mean by free. I always thought that you needed to cite governmental sources if used. I could be wrong. I don't think citing the sources would hurt your website at all, though.

Uhh….,man…!
If that page would be a car it would have broken headlights, the seats had come lose and you could hear funny noises from underneath when it meets it maximum speed of 40 mph.
In the rear window there would be a handwritten cardboard saying:” I pay if you take it.”
Overhoul.

Do you think people who are drowning in debt really want nothing less than a corporate looking professionally designed web site?
I actually think the site is cool In fact, the barrage of criticism from some members has me inspired to make it work and feeling good the site will eventually succeed, get ranked well in the serps and make some dollars ($10 cpc is possible).
Keep in mind this dot-me domain was registered just yesterday! Can you reg a domain and get a minisite (with adequate content) resolving in a few hours and at no cost?
That's OK, keep up the critique. I look forward to more. This is getting to be fun. Bring it on

Just taking a quick look at some of the errors.
Add this to the head section:
<meta http-equiv="content-type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">
Make sure all img tags have the alt attribute, even if you just use alt=""
The <tr> errors are caused by improper nesting of your tables.
<br> cannot precede <tr>. If you are using <br> in a table, it must go between the <td> </td> tags.
Use the style attribute or CSS to get around the background errors.

Thanks, most appreciated. Will work on all that over the weekend.
A lot of errors were due to this: <!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional//EN"> Any ideas? See 4th post from top.
Thanks again.
