    Lightbulb Future Domains-MemoryMedications.com-HydrogenScooters.com-3dPrintingMachine.com-ect

    Hi folks

I thought I would have a bit of a go at the predictive domaining thing and try to anticipate future markets, now I know this type of domaining is pretty speculative some of these things may pan out and some may not and I know there are many here that I probably should not have registered, that’s a result of being a know nothing newbie who probably needs to up there bipolar medication, there are many here that even with the very little I have learned up to this point I would not register now, I know I have been a bit of an idiot with many, but hopefully there are some that have a good chance of being worth keeping, some of these markets are pretty long term I know, but I am looking to be a long term investor and don’t mind keeping them 5 or 10 years or even longer, if it is likely that the kind of value they may have will justify doing so. But I am new to domaining and pretty ignorant and the one thing I am learning is that a bad name is a bad name no matter how thriving the market may become, so with this in mind I am wondering which I should definitely keep and which I should ditch, that’s the other thing I am learning is not to be afraid to show the **** the shovel as renewal fees can add up. I am also interested to know what people think of the prospects of the markets in general. I have included links to various YouTube videos and other material that explain all about the area for those who may not be aware or know much about them, so hopefully those who are interested in future technology and predictive domaining will find some of the subjects and material of interest, I think some of these things are pretty cool, but then again I am a bit of a nerd when it comes to anything to do with the future. I know these domains are difficult to appraise at this stage, but I want to cut this list down a fair bit so I am more interested on your thoughts as to which specifically may be worth keeping. Which would you bet on? Which would you keep?

As always I am eternally grateful for any advice as I am still desperately clueless.

    Many many thanks

    Hello and welcome trading names.

man! that is some list of domains you've got there. It would take a couple of days of anyones time to give your Portfolio any sort of half decent assessment. As you've pointed out nearly all are speculative registrations that require the amount of investigation that hopefully you've already put in prior to registering.

To my mind there is a couple that catch my attention, but you've clearly gone overboard in the "descriptives " department - and most of these will not hold up as either search terms or resale.

Tagging a 'fanciful' word onto a technology term is the sure way to lose money - A domain of this type is a "one trick pony" and there are millions of them out there.

Going overboard and overly categorising any term is again a sure way to lose money

On a positive note there are one or two (on the face of it) that I may have hand regged myself. But, I'm finding them hard to identify. It seems where you may have identified a term you have already had to settle for a second rate extension

aiapplication.com is the only one I can say seems to stand as a reasonble speculative bet. I really don't wish to comment on any of the others.

    Good Luck

Without the benefit of doing any research or access to stats I would have to say all the names have zero value at this time and appear highly unlikely to get popular in the future, imo. Sorry.

By the way did anybody check out the link to the AR site http://ge.ecomagination.com/smartgri...mented_reality , you do have to print something out and fire up your webcam to try it but if you haven’t seen AR in action it’s well worth it, I had never seen anything like it and it totally blew my mind, super cool hey what do you reckon?

I think your guess is as good as any. It is quite a list to be speculating on. It might be better invested in more currently relevant domain names.

Thanks I appreciate the input, people have told me they like 3dprintingmachine.com, I will definitely keep that if nothing else and ArApplications.com, I had an offer of $150 for that, oh and TouchScreenPad.com, I have had two offers of $300 for that. I think there are probably a few more keepers amongst them but I am still trying to figure out what they are, any suggestions are truly welcome. There are others I like, its just a case of deciding how long its likely to be before they are likely to have some value. Come on California hows the hydrogen highway going? LOL, I might buy a crystal ball and see if that helps. Anyway thanks again for the advice.
