The most valuable here. Excluding existing revenue I would say up to $7,500 for the name, having in mind the great potential for journalists, writers, etc

1,5K OV, too many Google refs

Nice term, but not too much IMO; up to $400

Just my opinion, but I don't rank tld's other than .com highly. If a company is going to purchase a domain, they want .com

You might be able to sell them to another domain seller for a couple of hundred $.

You might be wrong...some prefer the .Net i'm sure of that.

I have seen you here and at WebHostingTalk. You dont seem to have been around very long, nor have I. But you seem to get very nasty on a lot of threads. Maybe you should act a bit more mature and take things with a grain of salt. People are honest here for the most part. Saying they are giving "bad appraisal(s)" is rather stupid.

The keyword you should notice under estimate is OPINION. You cannot criticize peoples opinions. If you need to learn what an opinion is, then I feel sorry for you and maybe you should go get an education instead of bashing people's opinions on a forum. Then again, if you dont know what an opinion is my last sentence means nothing to you....


Also, making racist statements is never a good way to get a good opinion anywhere, except maybe in certain racist niches.

To be frank, I dont like you because you are a nasty person, also a bigot. I think it is right for you to apologize for making such statements as that one. This is not the place for that type of garbage. I would hope that safesys, mattyp, domebase, and all the other mods/admins agree with me at least on this point.

on the appraisals:
drama.net and word.net are excellent domains. Aim for high four figures, i could see five figures for drama.net because drama is such a large business and drama.com has to be a high quality domain. HomeSites.net.... not sure.

Appraisals are opinions, its not an ego stroke forum so if a domain is posted for appraisal and people don't see value in the domain they are perfectly at liberty to say so and vice versa but just because you don't agree does not mean personal attacks will be tolerated here.

drama.net I like and can see some potential in, but the fact its not a .com does cap corporate end user interest. I'd be thinking more likely to sell to a small organization or hobby webmaster so could maybe hit low 4 figures if they are motivated buyers.

word.net - has some ov count (although could be due to fellow domainers if this domain has been posted on multiple sites on the domainer block). Same sort of deal as the above in terms of value imo.

homesites.com - 45 on ov for exact domain, not the most commercial of terms but I'd expect that reseller you could get somewhere in the early 3 digits for it. If you get an end user approach then I'd certainly make an initial pitch in the mid 4 figure range - but its a pretty big "if" imo.

I agree with the appraisals of drama.net and word.net being in the four-figure range. However, I'd also place Homesites.com in that area, also. I think any realtor would love to have that name, and they could pay for it nicely with one good commission of a home sale.
