WLS NextRegistrationRights set to launch in November 2003
WLS NextRegistrationRights set to launch in November 2003
this is according to our friends at SnapNames
ironically, the WLS NRR will be using the patented SnapBack technology to secure all WLS orders on dropped .com and .net names
SnapNames is the major winner in this WLS system once it goes live, for every WLS order.......SnapNames gets compensated for its technology

excellent.
we will soon launch a wls for shopping and personal relationships too, cambler will get some %, because this was his idea.

Personal:
if there will be two girls 1-2 and you will want number 1, you will have to buy wls for this girl (of course, there is a chance that she will not fall down, because someone can call her and will tell her not to go in relationship, soo you will need to renew your wls on her..etc)

The bottom line is that the motion for preliminary injunction was denied by the court.
ICANN is expected to give a final announcement to the court by Wednesday. So WLS is imminent.

" ICANN is expected to provide a response to that request soon. If ICANN agrees, the preliminary injunction won't be necessary and today's issues will be decided instead at trial in December. If ICANN disagrees, Judge Webster likely will issue his opinion on the preliminary injunction motion in the coming week."
Imminent? How do you interpret the above to be what you posted?

Swoosh ... Swoosh .... Swoosh ....
And which cup is the ball now under? LOL!
BFL: I honestly feel that WLS, or something like it, will eventually happen.

Don't be confused. pfc is not only wrong, s/he is deliberately misleading you. The injunction was not denied, it was taken under advisement, and the judge asked ICANN to delay implementation until after the 16 December trial so as to not have to rule on it.
Don't hold your breath for November, either. My guess is, should it happen, it will happen after any trial. You'd be looking at February 2004 at the earliest.
Your source at Snapnames is blowing sunshine.

I'm not confused, the implication was that pcf might be however. The story was quite clear to me.

It took a little research, but I believe I now know pfc's agenda. As such, I shall most likely not reply substantively to what are clearly trolls.
Oh, and eNom's WLS technical archetecture is complete, pfc, so no need to bait me on that one. Looks like we would have had more time, though, if we wanted it.
I hate to say I told you so... no, scratch that. I rather enjoy saying I told you so.
