    NameWinner going down the toilet

Has anyone else noticed how badly NW has performed lately? Of the bunch of names I was watching yesterday, they caught ZERO...

I have always found it interesting to watch how the hot hand changes among the various drop catching services. Over the past year I have seen the various services (both large corporate ones and the fesity independents) each have a turn in the spotlight where it seemed like they were catching everything in sight, then they go ice cold and can't catch a thing.

I don't know that business, so I can only assume there is a constant game of one upmanship going on with each rolling out improved scripts and greater firepower to answer when competitors move ahead.

Maybe Cartoonz, DropWizard and some of the other insiders could fill us in on why the leader of the pack seems to be in constant flux.

Duke it's by prior arrangement. That way all the kudos don't go to our heads.

Except Toonz. He's always been Mr Modesty

I have the utmost pleasure in confirming that Toonz does indeed suck. And sucks quite badly, in fact.

But that's only a rumour I heard, so don't shoot the messenger.

How do you know which domains namewinner is trying to catch or which ones they have caught for the day?

Just add the domains to your watch list. The domains that become "PENDING" after a drop are the ones NW managed to catch.

You just said a mouthful. (and sounds like you probably got a mouthful)

I couldn't have worded it any better myself.

Somehow I thought there was some unhappy tidings out there for Mr. Ferguson. His SitePoint articles have made for interesting reading.
