    doge.com $20,550.00 - jasmin.com $25,500.00

doge.com went for $20,550.00 at snapnames

jasmin.com up to $25,500.00 with 40 minutes to go.

good names i guess, but it seems as though money
is not the issue anymore, just having the name no
matter what the cost, is all that counts

seems to be like buying jewelry - you buy it because
you want and can pay anything for it

i don't know, it looks a little grazy to me

Doge is a good typo for dodge
    693 doge.com

    decent ov score too

And jasmin has a nice score too.
    994 jasmin.com

Your point is still true in many ways, but these are good names.

The starting point for many domain purchases like these is the traffic, and the Overture result for doge.com is 693 and for jasmin.com it's 994 http://inventory.overture.com/d/sear...ry/suggestion/

So both domain names should get good traffic.

Ooops, I see this has already been covered above...gotta be faster in the morning

I would expect jasmin to go quite a bit higher given it's use as a first name and a descriptive term with traffic suggesting metrics.
When using google for counts - use double quotes for usage counts for multiword terms and set "match type" to "exact" for all search volume lookups. Click here for more info

wow, the power of safesys' words...jasmin.com was at $27K with 3 minutes to go and a couple of minutes after safe's post, in one step it went to $51K and now is at $65K with 5 mins to go

First names often find themselves as main components of trading names making the root term coveted for commerce as well as just plain vanity.

The overture figure of 994 with extension suggests that the domain gets reasonable traffic and that traffic should be capable of monetization that recoups the paid price in a workable timeframe for the bidders.
